Teens Lead is the newest service program offered through the Center for Women, Politics & Policy. Modeled after our innovative flagship NEW Leadership Oregon program, Teens Lead supports teen girls through a five day leadership camp with a focus on local civic engagement.
By reaching girls in their teens and providing mentorship, education, and networking, we will bring more diverse voices into civic engagement and public leadership positions in Oregon. Each year, between 20—25 students are carefully recruited from the Portland metropolitan area, focusing on high school girls who will most benefit from the intense mentoring and networking opportunities provided during, and after, the institute.
