
Jackie Dingfelder
Oregon Representative
House District 45
Jackie Dingfelder is the State Representative from District 45 in NE Portland. When she is not in Salem, she works as a consultant on environmental policy and planning issues.
Ms. Dingfelder is serving her third term in the Oregon House of Representatives. She is Vice-Chair of the House Water Committee and also serves on the new House Audits Committee.
During her tenure at the legislature, Ms. Dingfelder has been a vocal advocate for affordable housing and healthcare, stable funding for our schools, and responsible government.
Ms. Dingfelder is a strong champion of protecting Oregon’s environment and has extensive experience on conservation issues. Prior to joining the Oregon Legislature, she served as watershed program manager at For the Sake of the Salmon. Previously she worked as coordinator for the Tualatin River Watershed Council and as an environmental planning consultant in the private sector.
Ms. Dingfelder’s extensive community experience includes serving on many boards and commissions, including the Oregon Hunger Relief Task Force, Portland Public Schools Bond Task Force, Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center Board, Planned Parenthood of the Columbia/Willamette Board, Oregon League of Conservation Voters Board, City of Portland’s Utility Review Board, and Metro’s Water Resources Policy Advisory Committee.
Ms. Dingfelder’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ms. Dingfelder lives in Northeast Portland with her husband, Tom. She enjoys hiking, bicycling, kayaking, gardening and reading.
