NEW Leadership Oregon is dedicated to inspiring, educating, and supporting the next generation of women political leaders.

Strategic Focus

To offer an annual, residential leadership training program to college women in the state of Oregon. In selecting participants to the program, NEW Leadership Oregon will be dedicated to creating a diverse leadership environment; geographical, ideological, ethnic, social, and political diversity will strengthen the leadership skills of all involved. By developing networks with the political women in Oregon, college women in this state will build a path toward empowerment and leadership in the public sphere, ultimately increasing the presence of women in Oregon's public leadership. Through our connection to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, college women in Oregon will become connected to political women across the country, developing their capacity to take their place within national leadership.
